The changing look of home

The tile floors in the dining room turned out beautiful. Rachael is so thankful that now we have floors under the dining table that won't stain if a youngin' drops pasta sauce or grape juice. Carpet will never be welcome in this house.









Here Sam is relaying the dining room floor with Hardibacker preparing to lay tile (middle).



(bottom) You can see that the kitchen needs a face lift. Look close at the walls- they are orange stained pine. The backsplash and counters are alvacado green and lifting. We will one day change those "features". But, focusing on the good; we have plenty of light from those windows. And it's nice to have a back door exit out of the kitchen. Sam is standing where the refridgerator will go.
