Home Economics for the young

Here are the "test" results for the latest class that the girls completed.
We made apricot loaf " cakes" with miniature baking tins. The tins were the perfect size for the girls to handle.
(The largest one is my own mini loaf pan.)
The next day, at homeschool co-op,
the girls decorated their cakes with decorator icing. We simply used Raspberry juice concentrate to make pink icing ( instead of red food dye) . According to Abby this was the most delicious lesson yet!
There was some difficulty with cracking eggs and stirring the batter instead of eating it, but in the end the students passed " cake baking from scratch 101" with A s.

We finally captured a photo of those little baby teeth. And Miss. Anna has now been trained NOT TO BITE when she nurses. We are relieved and happy to continue nursing instead of weaning.
