Anna is now 4 months old. We took her to get her check-up and shots yesterday. She weighed in at 14 1/2 pounds. I'm not surprised though because even her jelly rolls have jelly rolls. We love that about her. What is cuter than a chubby and happy little baby?
The nurse noted that Anna was in the 79th percentile for her weight. She advised me that I should consider decreasing the bottles at home. I proudly told her that Anna is exclusively breastfed and that she did not know what to do with a bottle. ( We tried to give her a bottle back in December and she would not even give it a fair chance). The nurse was very surprised and said that she had not seen such a well fed nursing baby in quite some time. " Most moms add bottles after three months" she says. Its great to put nursing into a good light because too many people ASSUME that no one really does that any more.
Two days ago Anna woke up with TWO teeth in her mouth. YEP! She started teething at 10 weeks and at the tender age of 4 months she finally cut those teeth. They are sharp little things too. Sometimes she forgets that the thing in her mouth is her own hand. A little yelp and tears tell us that once again she has bit herself. I wonder how long this will go on.

One more boy and we can just arrange marriages between the bird clan and the knowles clan. Think of all the trouble and money it'll save for every one! Congrats on #3 and hope you're doing well.
