A Tough BREAK

We went to Anna's 2 week check-up yesterday and got some very surprising news. Anna had a very hard time coming out when she was born. And ever since her birth she has had a sensitive Right Shoulder.
Yesterday, after an X-ray, we learned that she has had a FRACTURED CLAVICLE all this time. The break is healing well so there was no intervention necessary. We have been swaddling her daily and that is just what the doctors said she needed. So we will continue that and get a recheck in 4 weeks.
Anna also had Jaundice at 7 days -and that required blood tests two days in a row. There was concern that we would have to put her in the hospital under a bili-lamp. But she pulled out of it. For a few days she was so yellow that we affectionately called her " Anna Banana."
She is such a trooper at just two weeks and she hardly complains about things. Just don't rotate her right arm.
