Today we woke at dawn and drove to Murray, KY to visit the Agricultural department at Murray State University. The Ag students taught the homeschool group about Fall on the Farm. There were hay rides, corn mazes, pony rides, a petting zoo and soy bean harvest demonstrations. The girls got to really milk a cow!! No samples of the milk though. We also toured the massive green houses. The girls participated in tractor races and a corn pit (think sand pit with corn instead of sand). We had a great time and the girls enjoyed their "trip to the field" as they put it. Well it was a trip to a corn field anyway.
